All 30 courses which are scheduled throughout all year are designed based on the development of the Transversal knowledge, skills and competencies which are often referred to as core skills, basic skills or soft skills, the cornerstone for the personal development of a person. Transversal knowledge, skills and competencies are the building blocks for the development of the "hard" skills and competencies required to succeed in the labour market.
Within the skills pillar, transversal skills and competencies are organised in a hierarchical structure with the following five headings:

  • Thinking (Problem Solving and Decision Making, etc.)
  • Language (English, Spanish, French Language courses)
  • Application of knowledge (ICT, STEM, Cybersecurity)
  • Social interaction (Teamwork, Intercultural Communication, etc.)
